In the town of Valfloriana every year is held the traditional Carnival of MATOCI. It consists of a long procession of characters with wooden masks and flashy costumes that crosses several villages and ends in the main square of Casatta. In order to get to Casatta, the "matoci", the local name for the characters, must overcome a series of obstacles and engage in unconventional satirical clashes, a system that recalls the ancient toll system used to be able to enter those villages. Once in Casatta the "matoci" are welcomed by "clowns" starting the party with dancing, jokes, cakes and mulled wine. Evening dances.
