The "carbon-gases bath" with the sparkling waters of the Ancient Source, made in wood or stone bath, offers therapeutic efficacy in the treatment of neuro-muscular and articular pain.

The mineral waters originate inside the mountain range Ortles-Cevedale, which includes the highest peaks of the Eastern Alps.

It takes many years to complete the journey through the geological strata and take the final chemical structure, rich in precious minerals.

The Thermal Baths in Pejo exploit, for the special healing properties, three different sources:

Fonte Alpina: very light and cold water. It emergence at a temperature of 7.2°C, has a very low concentration of salts and the pH is close to 7. It has a fixed residue of 93 mg/l at 180°C. It has been classified as mineral water.

Antica Fonte: Medium -mineral water, cold at a temperature of 7.7°C. It contains bicarbonate and a very high concentration of carbon dioxide; its pH is acidic. The dissolved carbon dioxide holds numerous minerals including the most easily absorbed iron. It is classified as medium-mineral, bicarbonate, ferrous and carbon dioxide.

Nuova Fonte: Mineral water, cold at a temperature of 6.5°C at the source; the high concentration of bicarbonate and the presence of ions, calcium and magnesium explain the alkalizing properties. It is classified as a mineral, naturally effervescent, calcium-magnesium bicarbonate and ferruginous.
